Welcome to https://thewinstonee.com (the “Site”), run by The Winstonee. By using the Site — reading articles, watching videos, joining the newsletter, commenting, using the forum, or purchasing The Curl Audit — you agree to these terms. Questions: inquiries@thewinstonee.com.

Using the Site

The Site is for adults 18 and older. You’re welcome to read, watch, and share our content for personal, non-commercial use.

Our content

Everything on the Site — articles, videos, guides, graphics, and the Winstonee name — belongs to us (or our licensors) and is protected by copyright. Don’t copy, republish, or redistribute our content without written permission, except for brief sharing with credit (like quoting a paragraph with a link back).

Content disclaimer — not professional advice

Our content is for education and entertainment. Haircare guidance here comes from personal experience and research — not from licensed cosmetology, medical, or dermatological training — and it isn’t a substitute for professional advice. If you have a medical concern, such as sudden shedding, scalp pain, sores, or patchy hair loss, please see a dermatologist.

Comments and community

We love hearing from you. When you comment or post in the forum:

  • You keep ownership of what you write, but you give us permission to display it on the Site.
  • Keep it respectful: no spam, harassment, hate speech, or unlawful content.
  • We may remove anything that breaks these rules, at our discretion.

We sometimes link to or recommend third-party products, videos, and stores — including our own digital products sold on other platforms. We’re not responsible for what those sites do or sell, or how they handle your information; their terms apply when you visit them.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Site: no hacking, scraping at abusive scale, spamming our forms, or interfering with other users.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep the Site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.

The Curl Audit — service terms

These terms cover The Curl Audit, the paid written hair consultation offered through https://thewinstonee.com. By purchasing, you agree to these terms.

The service: The Curl Audit is an asynchronous written consultation: you submit an intake form (your hair profile, routine, goals, and up to 3 optional photos), and receive a personalized written report.

Founding rate: $29 for the first 20 customers. Each founding audit also includes the Moisture Reset System guide free.

Delivery: your report is delivered by email within 72 hours of your intake submission. Your purchase includes 7 days of follow-up questions by email after delivery, at no extra charge.

Who it’s for: The Curl Audit is for men with naturally curly, naturally coily, or chemically texturized hair (including S-Curl), and those transitioning between natural and texturized hair. The audit provides personalized cosmetic haircare guidance based on the information you submit. It is not a medical diagnosis or treatment service. If you are experiencing sudden shedding, scalp pain, sores, or patchy hair loss, please see a dermatologist.

Payment: payment is processed securely by Stripe. The merchant of record is Stonee Hair LLC. We never see or store your card number.

Refund policy:

  • Not the right fit: I review every intake before starting. If your situation needs a dermatologist rather than a routine plan, or your hair is outside what I know deeply, I’ll tell you honestly and refund your $29 in full.
  • Running behind: if I’m going to miss the 72-hour window, I’ll tell you before it expires and offer a one-day extension. If that doesn’t work for you, I’ll refund you in full instead.
  • Change of mind: full refund any time before your report is delivered. After delivery, reports are not refundable — each one is written personally for you and can’t be resold.
  • Refunds go to your original payment method and appear within Stripe’s standard timing (typically 5–10 business days).

Your data: how we handle your intake answers and photos is described in our Privacy Policy, including the 90-day photo deletion policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you use the Site applies. For Curl Audit purchases, the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
